The Dees picked up an injury concern during match simulation on Saturday when Charlie Spargo went down clutching his ankle.

Steven May tweaked a hamstring in the big win over Geelong but was able to continue before being subbed off when the result was beyond doubt. The two-week break could come in handy for the key backman.

"There's no chance I'm missing [the grand final]," May said on Saturday following the prelim.

"The fact that my strength and everything was there, and I was able to go back on, gave me a lot of confidence."
