AFL Coleman Medal leaderboard: Jack Riewoldt takes lead from Ben Brown as Lance Franklin moves up image

Jack Riewoldt kicked himself into the outright lead in the race for the Coleman Medal, with a two-goal performance at the MCG on Friday night.

Backing up from his 10-goal game against the Suns that rocketed him to the top of the leaderboard, Riewoldt again put the pressure on the chasing pack in his side's win over Essendon.

He now holds a two-goal lead over North Melbourne's Ben Brown in second, who went goalless against Adelaide on Sunday evening.

It was the first time since round 12 - against Geelong - that Brown failed to put one between the big sticks.
