AFL Coleman Medal leaderboard: Ben Brown in front but Buddy Franklin is lurking image

North Melbourne's Ben Brown holds a handy lead at the top of the Coleman Medal leaderboard, with the big man's consistency seeing him in front by seven goals.

Jeremy Cameron had been leading the chase but his five-week suspension started in round 15 and will likely see him left in the dust.

After finding his feet since his return from injury, four-time winner Sydney's Lance 'Buddy' Franklin looks the most likely to reel in Brown.

Franklin kicked four goals in the loss to Richmond to take his total to 35 for the season.

In-form Demon Jesse Hogan booted three in the loss to St Kilda to have him one back on 34, while Jack Riewoldt also bagged three in his masterclass against the Swans to take him to 33.
