It was a big week up the top of the leaderboard of the Sporting News Brownlow, with Lachie Neale, Patrick Dangerfield and Patrick Cripps all pulling up with Tim Kelly at equal first.

Carlton's Patrick Cripps picked up three votes in his side's strong win over Adelaide, where he gathered 39 touches, incleading 19 clearances, as well as booting a goal and laying seven tackles.

Brisbane's Lachie Neale picked up two votes in the Lions' 27-point win against Hawthorn, where he had 33 touches and booted a major.

Geelong's Patrick Dangerfield also managed to grab two votes in the Cats' win against Sydney, picking up 25 touches and snagging two goals.

Teammate Tim Kelly was unable to grab a vote to extend his lead up the top, so now he is joined by Neale, Cripps and Dangerfield leading the Brownlow count with 20 votes apiece.

Fremantle's Nat Fyfe still sits outside the top position, failing to poll a vote in the Dockers' disappointing loss to the Western Bulldogs, meaning he still sits on 19 points.

Collingwood vs Richmond

It was all Richmond in the votes this week, with Martin grabbing the three votes for an outstanding performance of 38 touches and two goals. Tom Lynch grabbed two with five goals, while Prestia had 35 touches to find himself a vote.

Hawthorn vs Brisbane

1. Mitch Robinson (Bris)

The Lions got the job done against the Hawks, with captain Dayne Zorko grabbing 25 touches and two goals to pick up the three votes. Lachie Neale was outstanding with 33 disposals, while Mitch Robinson polled a vote with 28 possessions.

Carlton vs Adelaide

The Blues are a force to be reckoned with, as captain Patrick Cripps put on a masterclass, grabbing 39 touches, along with one goal to his name to take the three votes. Kade Simpson had two votes, with 31 touches and a goal himself, with Marc Murphy also had 31 disposals.

West Coast vs North Melbourne

The Eagles put on a masterclass to put themselves back to second on the ladder, and a big part of that was due to Josh Kennedy. Seven goals, with number six being his 600th, meant that Kennedy secured the three votes. Elliot Yeo grabbed two with two goals and 26 touches, whilst premiership hero Dom Sheed had 31 disposals to his name.

St. Kilda vs Melbourne

It was closer than they would've liked, but the Saints got the job done against the Dees. Seb Ross grabbed the three votes with 31 touches and two goals, whilst Jade Gresham had 31 disposals to his name for the two votes. In what is becoming a running theme for the season, only Max Gawn stood tall for Melbourne, grabbing a vote for his 40 hitouts and 18 possessions.

Port Adelaide vs GWS

The Giants got him in a thriller for Heath Shaw's 300th. Toby Greene grabbed the three votes,grabbing 30 touches. Phil Davis had the two votes with 17 disposals and 13 marks, whilst Travis Boak did what he could for the Power, grabbing 40 touches.

Western Bulldogs vs Fremantle

It was a masterclass for the Dogs as they make their charge towards finals. Jack Macrae had 38 disposals for the three votes, whilst Marcus Bontempelli grabbed 38 touches and booted two majors for the two votes. Youngster Bailey Dale snagged four goals to grab the final vote.

Sydney vs Geelong

It was ugly, and there was controversy (lots of it), but the Cats got there in the end. Tom Hawkins was the star of the show in his 250th, with five majors securing the three votes. The score review was the major talking point out of the last match of round 19, but the Bombers were lucky it didn't come back to haunt them. Dylan Shiel was the best for the Dons, grabbing the three votes with 28 touches and a goal. Jake Stringer was the hero for Essendon, booting four goals to grab the two votes, whilst Jarrod Witts did all he could for the Suns, with a monster 60 hitouts.
