Big Freeze 6: Sydney Swans forward Isaac Heeney trolls Kane Cornes over wake-boarding incident image

Sydney Swans forward Isaac Heeney has taken the opportunity to troll Port Adelaide legend Kane Cornes over his wakeboarding incident as part of the sixth edition of the Big Freeze.

The event is traditionally held before the Queen’s Birthday game between Collingwood and Melbourne, organised by former Melbourne coach Neale Daniher in an effort to raise money and awareness for motor neuron disease (NMD).

Whilst the traditionally ice slide has been put on hold, players from each of the 18 AFL clubs have performed their own 'ice challenges' to support FightMND as they prepare to return this weekend.

The highlight of the entries was Swans young gun Isaac Heeney, who decided to poke fun at the controversial Cornes over criticism of his wakeboarding during the shutdown period.

Cornes sprayed the former Rising Star for his actions, labelling them as "stupid", which drew the ire of league legend Mark Geyer

However, Heeney and the Swans have had the last laugh, with the 24-year-old wakeboarding into the icy pool dressed as Tarzan, with rookie Dylan Stephens dragging him along dressed as Cornes.

Cornes found the funny side to the incident, tweeting "Well played" with a laughing emoji.

However, Heeney's efforts were topped by Melbourne's Christian Petracca, who stole the show as he slid down an inflatable slide dressed as Happy Gilmore.

GWS Giants were the other standouts from the event, with star midfielder Toby Greene plunging himself dressed as 'the Karate Kid' in a nod to his notorious marking style.
