He's good this Patrick Dangerfield kid.

In Geelong's demolition job of Gold Coast on Saturday, the superstar took an epic one-handed mark that wowed onlookers.

Danger and fellow midfield great Gary Ablett Junior combined for one of the plays of the year, and fans at the Cattery will be optimistic about their finals chances with these two in fine form.

With Ablett charging down the middle of GMHBA Stadium with the ball in hand, commentators noticed how Danger set off towards the goals with an arm out in front of him, calling for the footy.

Ablett laced out the kick perfectly to his teammate's advantage, and Dangerfield did the rest.

While wrestling with opponent Jesse Joyce, the special Cats player managed to get one arm free while falling over.

The footy didn't stick, but Dangerfield managed to juggle the ball a few times with his right mitt before snaring it with two hands before it touched a blade of grass.

It makes for pretty impressive viewing.

Of course Danger went back and slotted the goal, his fourth of the game.

By the time the match was over, Geelong had their second consecutive 100+ point victory.

The final score read 142-40 and was the Cats' 13th victory of the season. Danger was best on ground with 34 disposals and four majors, but Mitch Duncan, Joel Selwood, Ablett and Scott Selwood also 25 or more disposals.

Dangerfield and co can finish seventh if Melbourne lose to GWS.
