TV personality Karl Stefanovic has been scolded by fans for struggling to read out Queensland's team during Channel Nine's coverage of tonight's Origin crunch match in Sydney.
The inclusion of Stefanovic in Nine's Origin coverage raised a few eyebrows when it was confirmed prior to the series and The Today Show host did himself no favours in the lead up to Game II at ANZ Stadium.
The outspoken Maroons fan committed several mispronunciations as he read out names on Queensland's team list, earning the ire of a number of fans, who roasted him for misreading most of the polynesian names.

Stefanovic was behind a proposal to film an Origin documetary in the style of The Last Dance during this year's series, however the film was controversially vetoed by Maroons coach Wayne Bennett.
