St. Kilda have made a huge play for Fremantle Dockers star Brad Hill in an attempt to lure him to Moorabbin at the end of this season.

The 2019 All-Australian fancy has become one of the hottest properties in the game amid what has been a breakout year for the 26-year-old, despite still having two years to run on his current deal.

AFL.com.au reporter Damien Barrett is reporting the Saints have thrown a huge $900k offer Hill's way, in an attempt to land what would be a huge coup in the club's transformation.

Following weeks of uncertainty surrounding Hill's next move, it is believed he has informed Fremantle management that a move to Victoria would be his preference, with family said to be a key factor in the decision.

The Dockers are now resigned to losing the three-time Hawthorn premiership star and will commence discussions with Melbourne-based clubs about potential trades.

Whilst a number of clubs are said to be keen on the specialist winger's talents - including Carlton and Melbourne - St. Kilda are in the box seat, and are expected to include their first-round draft pick as part of their offer.

Hill was a key figure in Hawthorn's historic premiership three-peat between 2013 and 2015, and after a move home to Fremantle was awarded the club's best-and-fairest in 2017.

Averaging over 25 touches across his 21 appearances for the Dockers this season, Hill is almost certain to earn All-Australian honours this season.

He is among a number of big names tossing up a move to Victoria at the end of this season, alongside GWS Giants star Stephen Coniglio who is also mulling over a move to Melbourne.
