Two rugby league communities are mourning the passing of rising junior talent Stevenson Upulasi.

Upulasi, a promising front-rower who was part of St. George Illawarra's under-20s squad - was tragically killed in a car accident on Monday.

Affectionately known as 'Stevie', Upulasi spent three seasons in the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks' junior representative system, before linking up with the Dragons last year

He spent a year in St George's SG Ball team before graduating to the under-20's squad ahead of the 2020 season.

With the Sharks and Dragons to meet on Saturday evening at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium, the two clubs will observe a moment's silence prior to kick-off.
