Update
Tom Hawkins has tested negative for COVID-19, as confirmed by AFL CEO Gillon McLachlan on Wednesday,
“Yes, 100 per cent. That was last night ... You didn’t know that?" McLachlan said on SEN.
“I don’t know if I should have told that ... things get out, but people having runny noses every day ... you get used to it, that’s life.”

The mind games have already begun ahead of the AFL grand final with Geelong's Tom Hawkins unsighted at the Cats Tuesday morning training session.
Hawkins is currently in quarantine and isolating away from his Cats teammates after reporting a sore throat, with the club taking all precautions to ensure the illness isn't shared amongst the rest of the group ahead of their blockbuster finale against Richmond.
It's understood the illness may have been spread through Hawkins's young family, who are up in Queensland in the hub with the Cats key forward. Hawkins was in attendance at the Brownlow Medal awards on Sunday night with some teammates.
