The Canberra Raiders got involved in the AFL draw on Thursday with a hilarious troll of 2019 AFL premiers Richmond.

The AFL has released its fixtures list for the 2020 season, giving footy fans a teaser of what's to look forward to (or not look forward to in some cases) ahead of the new season.

Clubs have become extra innovative with the way they share their draw with fans online in recent years.

After the NRL released its list of fixtures on Tuesday, Canberra broke the internet with a hilarious video containing Simpsons references for each of its 25 regular season games for the 2020 NRL season.

And it appears the Tigers may have gained some inspiration from the Green Machine, after they dropped an almost identical clip once they learned of their 2020 list of fixtures.

It didn't quite slip through the cracks however, as shortly after the Tigers' adaptation of the Simpons' draw video, the Raiders responded with a hilarious troll, referencing the "hey, can I copy your homework?" meme.

The Tigers will face a tough task in their premiership defence, after being handed a relatively tough start to the season.

The first half of their draw is littered with blockbusters, with the traditional season opener against Carlton again set to kick off the season, followed by a mouth-watering encounter against rivals Collingwood in round two.

Meanwhile, between round seven and nine, the premiers will face off against each of its 2019 finals opponents in Brisbane, GWS and Geelong.
