Cowboys WR Hurns carted off field after gruesome leg injury image

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Allen Hurns was carted off the field during his team's matchup with the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC wild-card round on Saturday.

Hurns appeared to suffer a gruesome lower-leg injury when safety Bradley McDougald rolled up on his leg during a tackle in the first quarter.

The injury was so graphic that Fox commentator Joe Buck winced on-air and the network did not show more than one replay of the action.

The match stopped for several minutes as medical staff tended to the injured Hurns before taking him off the field on a stretcher.

The Cowboys led the Seahawks 3-0 at the time of the injury.
