The Brisbane Lions have taken out the 2024 AFL premiership, after obliterating Sydney to the tune of 60 points.
In a crowded field of top performers, the Norm Smith medal was awarded to Will Ashcroft, who played a massive role in Brisbane's historic flag.
At just 20 years old, this makes Ashcroft the youngest player to ever claim the honour in the AFL era, and the youngest since Wayne Harmes in 1979.
