The Kangaroos have locked down one of their most important assets, securing the services of Luke Davies-Uniacke until the end of 2025.
Davies-Uniacke was due to come off contract at the end of 2023 but the midfielder has put pen to paper well before the start of the season.
The 23-year-old again took his game to new heights in 2022, stepping up in the absence of Ben Cunnington to play a key role in the Roos' engine room.
After dealing with injury troubles in his few seasons since being drafted with pick four in 2016, Davies-Uniacke has now played 20 and 21 games in the past two years.
His 2022 campaign culminated in a second-placed finish behind Jy Simpkin in the best and fairest.

North's head of football talent Brady Rawlings praised Davies-Unaicke's development.
"Luke has rapidly become one of the club's most important players, there are plenty of examples of that throughout the season just gone," said Rawlings.
"We're ecstatic to have a player of his calibre commit to North Melbourne for another two years, he's such a terrific person to have at the club both on and off the field, and we know how much our members and fans have loved his recent rise as a footballer.
"We've got so much confidence in him, and we look forward to seeing him take his game to yet another level."
With Davies-Uniacke locked down, Roos management will now turn their attention to key defender Ben McKay who is unsigned beyond 2023.
