Sydney star Lance Franklin could find himself in trouble with the Match Review Panel after an errant strike to Trent Cotchin's chin during Friday night's clash at the SCG.

Franklin and Cotchin were found bumping one another until the legendary goal-kicker took things further late in the second quarter as the Swans were going inside their forward 50.

Frustration was showing in the Sydney line-up as the Swans trailed the Tigers by four goals deep in the second quarter and appeared to be struggling to wrestle back momentum.

The Swans trail by 25 points at half-time after an entertaining start to the game.
