Melbourne's Tom Bugg is facing a decent stint on the sidelines after striking Swan's Callum Mills on Friday night and a former Sydney defender has himself come out swinging saying Bugg might not find his way back to the footy field.

Premiership-winning former Swan Tadhg Kennelly joined in a chorus of criticism for Bugg who will face the AFL Tribunal on Tuesday and likely be handed a long-term suspension.
Expected to be rubbed out for at least a month, Kennelly believes Bugg will struggle to live the controversy down and indeed faces an uphill battle to pull on a guernsey again.
"The concern I have: Is this his last game of AFL football?" Kennelly said on Fox Sports News Gameday Live.
"He could get six weeks ... is he in Melbourne’s best 22? I don’t think he is.
"They start getting some players back, we could’ve seen the last of Tomas Bugg in an AFL jumper.
“It’s going to be a question of Melbourne: Does he have some value to the football team?
"His last thing in AFL football could be a punch to the face of a footballer.”
At 24 years of age, Bugg started his AFL career with the Giants in 2012 before making the switch to the Demons in 2016.
