Collingwood's Darcy Moore revealed he has no structural damage to his left knee, after hyperextending it in the Pies' five-point win against Gold Coast on Saturday night.

The 2020 All-Australian landed awkwardly with just under three minutes to go in the final quarter as the Pies extended their winning streak to six.

Moore was stretchered off the field, putting fears into Collingwood players and fans as it looked like their revival under new coach Craig McRae took a hard hit.

However, the 26-year-old took to social media to unveil the good news and a huge sigh of relief swept the black-and-white army.

Collingwood also released a statement in regards to Moore's injury.

Collingwood key defender Darcy Moore had scans yesterday which have returned this morning showing no structural damage to his left knee.

Scans revealed bone bruising and a capsule strain to the knee, but the ligaments remain intact.

The 26-year-old hyperextended his knee in a marking contest in the final minutes of the Pies’ Round 16 match against the Gold Coast Suns on Saturday night.

Moore will be assessed later in the week.

The Magpies climbed to sixth position after Saturday's win and now can start looking at making a push for the top four, with games against North Melbourne, Adelaide, Essendon and Port Adelaide to come in the next month.

McRae has taken Collingwood to new heights with their exciting ball movement and ability to pile on the goals, which is a total backflip from their 2021 campaign that resulted in the lowest finish in club history.

The Pies will expect defender Jeremy Howe to come into the side after battling illness over the weekend, but are still unsure of Moore's availability.
