Collingwood won their way into a preliminary final against the Swans with a 20-point victory over Fremantle at the MCG on Saturday night.
The Pies controlled the contest for the majority of the night and, were it not for some inaccuracy in front of goal, may have put the game to bed much earlier.
Fremantle kicked some late consolation goals but the Magpies looked the winner a long way from home, eventually running out 79-59 victors.
They'll now face Sydney at the SCG on Saturday evening.

Jordan De Goey shows his big-game chops
The out-of-contract Collingwood star is among the game's most discussed players but he showed on Friday night exactly why there's so much interest in him.
De Goey was the most influential player on the ground as the Pies secured a preliminary final berth.
In the absence of Taylor Adams, De Goey was the one providing for the Pies in the middle, winning his own footy and making the most of it with his burst away from stoppages.
De Goey finished with 24 touches including six clearances and 12 score involvements - by far the most on ground.
Still yet to agree to a deal for next season and beyond, De Goey showed Collingwood, and any potential suitors, exactly what they can get for their money.
Jamie Elliott and Jack Ginnivan the key?
The Pies gun small forwards were well kept last week, combining for just one goal in their loss to Geelong.
It was a different story on Saturday night as Collingwood's forward line, some wayward kicking notwithstanding, turned it on.
Without the ball, the pressure was rabid - Elliott had seven tackles. Nearly every Fremantle disposal felt rushed.
They also hit the scoreboard - three for Ginnivan, two for Elliott and a total of six score involvements each.

In this sort of form, the Swans' small defenders will have a hard time keeping the pair quiet next week.
Dockers fall flat on big occasion
They've defied the odds so often in 2022 but the Dockers will go into the off-season stinging after their performance on Saturday night.
While they boast one of the most exciting young lists in the competition, Fremantle looked at times to be lacking an experienced head to lift the team, particularly when Collingwood had all the momentum in the first half.
It's fair to say their forward structure didn't work, with main target Rory Lobb well held, leaving them battling to release the pressure.
Justin Longmuir will no doubt be keen to remedy that before next season.
Despite the loss, there's much to be positive about for Freo fans and if a fit Nat Fyfe can return to the side next year, the Dockers will be in good hands moving forward.
