St Kilda complete trade for Liam Henry

4:00pm (AEDT)

Liam Henry has made his way to St Kilda, as Fremantle pick up the Saints' future second and a future fourth-round pick swap.

The 22-year-old had a breakout season with the Dockers, averaging just over 20 disposals as a wingman.

“Liam is an exciting young player with plenty of upside to excite Saints fans,” List Manager Stephen Silvagni said of the trade.

“His ability to find space is complemented by his elite skills and composure with ball in hand.

“We can’t wait to welcome Liam and his family to the club.”

It's Fremantle's second departure of the day after Schultz made his way to Collingwood.

Collingwood complete deal for Lachie Schultz from Fremantle

2:30pm (AEDT)

Collingwood has secured Fremantle small forward Lachie Schultz after the Victorian's shock trade request.

The Dockers will receive a future first-round pick from the Magpies and a second-round selection (currently pick 34).

"I’d like to thank Fremantle for my time at the club and for coming to an arrangement with Collingwood," Schultz said.

"The Dockers gave me my first football opportunity, and I will be forever grateful for my time there. I would not be the player I am today without the support of the football staff and players.

"Family is important to me and is one of the reasons I have decided to make the move back to Victoria.

"There is something special about the Pies – they have experienced ultimate success – and this is something I hope to one day be a part of. I am excited to pull on the black and white stripes next year.”

Finally a trade as Bigoa Nyuon moves to North Melbourne

1:30pm (AEDT)

After an extremely quiet day on the trade front, a confirmed move has been lodged with North Melbourne acquiring defender Bigoa Nyuon from Richmond for pick 65.

Nyuon, 22, played one game for Richmond since being drafted with pick 54 in the 2019 AFL Draft and redrafted as a rookie by the Tigers in 2021.

It is understood Nyuon has signed a one-year deal with North Melbourne, who are looking to replace Ben McKay.

Will Harrison Petty leave Melbourne for Adelaide?

10:30am (AEDT)

It's the trade rumour that won't go away: Melbourne swingman Harrison Petty returning home to Adelaide.

The Demons have so far denied Petty will be leaving the club but it may have to deal with key position utility if they want to snare the no.1 pick and Harley Reid.

Petty has been a crucial cog of Melbourne's defence but is behind both Steven May and Jake Lever as key defenders in the team.

Intriguingly, Petty showed some ability as a forward in his final couple of games in 2023, kicking six goals against Richmond and two versus North Melbourne.

Adelaide could use Petty's talents at both ends of the ground with intercept defender Tom Doedee moving to Brisbane and key forward Taylor Walker nearing retirement.

Eagles deny Darling, Duggan trade rumours

8:30am (AEDT)

West Coast have taken the unusual step to deny trade speculation surrounding Jack Darling and Liam Duggan.

Rumours emerged on Friday that Darling was available for trade with North Melbourne interested, while St Kilda wanted to bring in Duggan.

However, the Eagles, via their X account, decided to quash the speculation on Saturday.

"Media speculation about the club discussing trades involving Elliot Yeo, Jack Darling and Liam Duggan are completely unfounded & untrue," the West Coast tweet read.

Jamarra Ugle-Hagan in Sydney's sights

8:00am (AEDT)

Sydney is no stranger to offering the world to up-and-coming forwards, earlier this month offering a staggering ten-year deal to Western Bulldogs star Aaron Naughton.

Naughton declined the deal, opting to sign on with the Bulldogs for eight years.

Unfortunately for those at Whitten Oval, the door is now ajar for the Swans to make a play for former No.1 pick Jamarra Ugle-Hagan next year.

One list manager, The Herald Sun reports, believes there is 'no doubt the Swans will go big for Jamarra'.

The 21-year-old kicked 35 goals from 23 games this season, impressing with his athleticism and marking ability.

Consistency has been an issue for the burgeoning star but entering his fourth season he looks ready to take control of the Bulldogs forward line.

In 2023, Sydney famously signed Lance Franklin to a nine-year contract believed to be worth $10 million.
