North Melbourne plays Essendon at Marvel Stadium on Saturday afternoon, with both teams keen to finish the season strongly.

The Kangaroos were competitive against Melbourne last week but were ultimately outclassed by a top-four team.

A matchup against the Bombers, who took a narrow one-point win over West Coast, could provide a closer contest.

It will also be the final game for North Melbourne veteran Ben Cunnington, who has enjoyed a stellar AFL career.
