Melbourne vs. Brisbane teams
Kosi Pickett is suspended for the third time in 13 months for Melbourne ahead of Thursday night's match against Brisbane.
Last week's substitute Taj Woewodin will likely get the call up to the best 22, but Bailey Laurie and Lachie Hunter are also options.
Hunter played in match simulation for Casey Demons on the weekend and would be a surprise selection after only just returning from a calf issue.
Ben Brown struggled to impact during the win against Adelaide and could possibly be replaced by Josh Schache or even a defender that allows Tom McDonald to move forward.
Brisbane finally got on the winners list for the season and are unlikely to make any changes.
Conor McKenna (hamstring) is a week away from returning.

Western Bulldogs vs. Essendon teams
A close loss to Geelong likely won't see too many changes for the Bulldogs, who have some decent names at VFL level currently.
Prior to last week's VFL bye, James Harmes and Rory Lobb played for Footscray and could be additions for Luke Beveridge.
Sam Darcy's performances will likely keep Lobb in the VFL, but Harmes could come in for either Jack Macrae or Caleb Daniel, with both veterans appearing out of favour at the moment.
Essendon continue to be struck down by injuries with Archie Perkins (hamstring) and Will Setterfield (knee) to be sidelines, while Jordan Ridley's (calf) absence is to be extended at least another month.
Sam Durham could return after a week in concussion protocols, while Dylan Shiel could play in the VFL if he passes a fitness test.
The Bombers' injury woes makes any significant omissions unlikely.
GWS vs. St Kilda teams
The 4-0 Giants could welcome back Callan Ward from a shoulder injury, but could also opt to ease him back through the VFL.
James Peatling could be the lucky omission, as could Harvey Thomas, who struggled to impact against the Suns.
St Kilda will bring Marcus Windhager (suspension) straight into the team, with substitute Angus Hastie likely to keep honing his craft in the VFL.
Dougal Howard is also nearing full fitness after straining his hamstring in pre-season, but expect the Saints to ease him back with Zaine Cordy in decent form.
Paddy Dow (knee) is closing in on his VFL debut before being available for senior selection.
Carlton vs. Adelaide teams
Unbeaten Carlton should become stronger with Sam Walsh set to play his first game of the season after recovering from a lingering back issue.
Lachie Fogarty (suspension) and Elijah Hollands (adductor) are the likely forced omissions, with Jaxon Binns and Lachie Cowan pushing for selection.
Adelaide are yet to win a game and there is a feeling their season is already on life support.
Expect the Crows top draft pick Daniel Curtin to finally make his debut as the team looks for a boost.
With the SANFL taking a break last weekend, expect emergencies Luke Pedlar, Lachlan Gollant and James Borlase to be considered with Patrick Parnell coming out because of a shoulder injury.
Chris Burgess is likely to be facing the axe after only getting four touches against Melbourne.
Gold Coast vs. Hawthorn teams
After seven changes the previous week, expect the Gold Coast Suns to only make minor changes after an impressive performance against GWS.
Tom Berry is a player who has had plenty of opportunity and could be in trouble with the likes of Connor Budarick, Alex Sexton and Brandon Ellis dropped last week.
The Hawks were gallant in defeat to Collingwood, so expect Sam Mitchell to keep faith with most of the team.
Sam Butler could be looking over his shoulder after getting three disposals and then subbed, with Jack Gunston out of the team currently.
Port Adelaide vs. Fremantle teams
Port Adelaide will need to find a replacement for Jeremy Finlayson, who copped a three match ban for making a homophobic slur.
Sam Powell-Pepper's suspension has been completed, Ollie Wines (hamstring) is ready to go and Travis Boak faces a fitness test.
The Power's top pick in the 2021 draft, Josh Sinn, looks ready for more senior football.
Sean Darcy could come straight into the Fremantle team after recovering from a knee injury.
The Dockers will lose Michael Frederick (hamstring) to a minor injury, while Sam Switkowski (calf) needs to pass a fitness test.
Neil Erasmus is likely to come back into the squad and Jaeger O'Meara might get a start after being the sub the past three matches.
Geelong vs. North Melbourne teams
Patrick Dangerfield will return for Geelong after missing the last two games with a hamstring issue.
It will be a tough decision for who is taken out of the team, unless Jake Koladjashnij (quad) and Zach Tuohy (ankle) fail to get up from minor injuries.
It's expected to be a revolving door at North Melbourne as Alastair Clarkson figures out who is part of their next finals team.
Several Roos are in the frame to be axed including Dylan Stephens and Paul Curtis, who both were barely sighted against Brisbane.
West Coast vs. Richmond teams
An improved West Coast performance against Sydney may not see the axe wielded as brutally.
Tyler Brockman has exited concussion protocols and is a good chance for selection, while Andrew Gaff, Zane Trew and Alex Witherden impressed in the WAFL.
Luke Edwards (hamstring) will definitely come out of the team but expect Adam Simpson to keep a lot of faith.
Richmond has a lengthy absentee list that will get shorter as Liam Baker returns from suspension.
Dylan Grimes (wrist) and Jack Graham (quad) will also play if they get through fitness tests.
Struggling key forward Jacob Koschitzke has been backed by coach Adem Yze and will remain in the team.
