Melbourne's Ben Brown and Jayden Hunt are facing the chopping block for the upcoming Queen's Birthday game against Collingwood at the MCG.

For the third consecutive week, Brown was kept goalless as well as only amassing a total of 14 disposals in those three games.

The former North Melbourne has under-performed and not met his potential recently, alluding to the entire club's form on and off the field.

Hunt has also been disappointing, with the dashing defender lacking impact on crucial games in the past fortnight, resulting in 16 touches over the past three weeks.

Mitch Brown was brought in last week for the absence of Tom McDonald, but could make room too.

Simon Goodwin could choose to select key forward Sam Weideman, while halfbacks Trent Rivers and Michael Hibberd are also options for the Magpies clash.

Brisbane could also make some changes following their 14-point loss to Fremantle over the weekend.

Coming up against a tough side in St Kilda, with Callum Ah Chee and Jaxon Prior looking likely to make room for players in the reserves.

Ah Chee was the sub and had no impact when he came on, collecting three disposals and a goal in 40 per cent game time.

Youngster Prior was serviceable but lacked influence, gathering a lowly 12 touches in a significant game for the Lions.

Coach Chris Fagan could look at someone like Rhys Mathieson or veteran Mitch Robinson, who have both been in excellent form in the VFL.

North Melbourne's Kayne Turner is also waiting nervously after a disenchanting performance against the Suns in Darwin.

Turner had three possessions from 85 per cent game time and looked a step or two behind the level, struggling to have any effect for the struggling Kangaroos.

Charlie Lazzaro has been consistent in the VFL and could deserve a recall into the senior side.

Despite winning, the Dockers are to make at least one change, with skipper Nat Fyfe returning from a long-term injury.

Likely to play up forward and chop out in the midfield, Fyfe could replace Darcy Tucker after struggling to find the football in their win against the Lions.

Tucker collected eight disposals and could be the unfortunate one to make room for the dual Brownlow Medallist.
