Melbourne vs Carlton teams - First Semi Final
Melbourne has an injury cloud over Max Gawn (toe) and Clayton Oliver (knee) - but both are expected to play such a big match.
Jacob van Rooyen is suspended with forgotten big man Ben Brown likely to be the replacement, while Brodie Grundy will be discussed but is likely long odds to be selected.
To replace Angus Brayshaw (concussion), James Jordon seems the most probable option, especially with James Harmes struggling with an unknown injury issue.
Substitute Bailey Laurie only had five possessions in a half last week, while Tom McDonald also struggled to get near it but should keep his spot with fit tall forward options lacking.
Carlton will lose two important forwards in Harry McKay (concussion) and Jack Martin (suspension), with it not clear who will come in to replace them.
Sub Jesse Motlop seems to be the like-for-like option for Martin, but Matthew Kennedy, Zac Fisher or Jordan Boyd could also be picked in a reshuffle.
You would expect a fit-again Jack Silvagni to come in for McKay, with Tom De Koning also to spend time up forward during the match.

Power forward Charlie Dixon is progressing well from a foot injury, leaving an awkward key forward squeeze for Port Adelaide.
Youngster Ollie Lord kicked four goals against Brisbane while Todd Marshall’s inaccuracy was costly for Ken Hinkley’s side.
Despite being the Power’s leading goalkicker this year, Jeremy Finlayson has been held goalless in his last two appearances and took only two marks last week.
The 27-year-old could be an unlucky omission if Dixon is to return while the other two forwards will be on notice.
GWS’ Xavier O’Halloran came in for Stephen Coniglio as a late change after the star mid suffered an eye injury during training.
With just ten disposals to his name, it’s likely that O’Halloran will once again be a straight swap for Coniglio, who is set to return this week.
A healthy list and compelling win over the Saints means that the Giants could go into the semi final mostly unchanged.
