Collingwood (1st) vs Geelong (9th) teams

Collingwood will be without injured superstar Nick Daicos and veteran Steele Sidebottom (foot), who leave the midfield under pressure against Geelong.

Defender Nathan Murphy (ankle) is also set to miss time but is moving well on the track. Backman Billy Frampton looms as the obvious replacement despite not playing in the VFL last week.

Ash Johnson (6 possessions, no goals) could face selection scrutiny, while last week's sub Oleg Markov and Will Hoskin-Elliot could come into the side.

Geelong is set to welcome Tom Hawkins back into the side after being sidelined with a hamstring issue.

Defender-turned-forward Jack Bowes is a likely omission for Hawkins but could be moved down back in place of Zac Guthrie, who had just 13 touches against Port Adelaide.

North Melbourne (17th) vs Essendon (12th) teams

North Melbourne will fancy themselves a chance after the Bombers struggled to beat West Coast at Marvel Stadium last week.

Ben Cunnington is playing his final match for the Kangaroos after retiring, while George Wardlaw (hamstring) is likely to bolster the midfield.

Tom Powell, Aiden Bonar and Flynn Perez will be available for selection, but Callum Coleman-Jones needs to come out of concussion protocols.

Players who will have their senior position discussed at selection include Robert Hansen, Charlie Lazzaro and Jaidyn Stephenson, who only managed 10 touches on the weekend.

Will Setterfield returned through the VFL and should be fit for Essendon's midfield, while Jake Stringer (foot) will play if he passes a test.

Four goals from Tex Wanganeen in the VFL will get his name discussed at selection, with Matt Guelfi, Alwyn Davey and Jye Menzie contenders to be axed.

Sydney (10th) vs Gold Coast (14th) teams

Sharpshooter Braeden Campbell will miss a vital Gold Coast clash after being suspended for a dangerous tackle in the Sydney Derby.

Swans defender Lewis Melican is a possible in but would have to push Aaron Francis or Tom McCartin out of the side.

Midfielder Dylan Stephens was the sub for Sydney last week, and won nine touches in one quarter. Expect the 22-year-old to start on a wing in place of Campbell.

Gold Coast defender Wil Powell is out for the season after a nasty ankle injury, leaving the door ajar for Brayden Fiorini to come in as a half back.

Utility Charlie Constable won 34 disposals in his last VFL appearance, and could also rejoin the Suns AFL side.

Defender Jy Farrar got the start for Gold Coast, but wasn't overly impressive with six disposals for the day.

Brisbane Lions (3rd) vs Adelaide (11th) teams

The Lions return from Western Australia short of Keidean Coleman (eye) and Noah Answerth (facial fracture), with Daniel Rich in the frame to return.

Oscar McInerney (ankle) is shaping to come back into the side, with Darcy Fort the player likely to make way.

Brisbane's VFL side had the bye last weekend.

Adelaide should include Izak Rankine (hamstring) and Luke Pedlar (managed) in their team, with Chayce Jones (foot) done for the season.

Josh Rachele could also find himself on the outer after an anonymous performance against Gold Coast with seven disposals.

Elliott Himmelberg kicked four goals in the SANFL, while Sam Berry had 28 disposals.

Carlton (5th) vs Melbourne (2nd) teams

The Blues won't feel pressured to make many changes, with the side targeting an 8th-straight win against Melbourne on Saturday.

Medium defender Jordan Boyd is available after serving suspension, but could struggle to find a spot.

Carlton substituted Lachie Fogarty before the fourth quarter, which could put the 24-year-old under selection pressure.

Melbourne lose Harrison Petty, who has been ruled out for the season with a foot injury, but should regain Tom McDonald in the forward line.

Superstar midfielder Clayton Oliver is also a likely inclusion, after missing ten games in a complex injury saga

Midfielders James Jordon (24 disposals) or Tom Sparrow (19) could be unlucky outs, while James Harmes is also facing pressure from the returning Oliver.

West Coast (18th) vs Fremantle (15th) teams

The Eagles will lose retiring legends Shannon Hurn (Achilles) and Luke Shuey (hamstring) but it was a decent performance against Essendon last week.

Xavier O'Neill could also be an admission after failing to get involved the game.

Fremantle also just lost last week to Brisbane in a game they led most of the day.

An ankle injury will see Ethan Hughes out of the team, with several candidates to come in.

Will Brodie had 31 disposals in the VFL, Bailey Banfield is fit to play again and sub Matthew Johnson could be promoted to the 22.

Josh Corbett is also facing the axe with Matthew Taberner a like-for-like replacement.

Hawthorn (16th) vs Western Bulldogs (6th) teams

Dynamic pair Karl Amon and Tyler Brockman will bring added run and attack to a Hawthorn side which shocked Collingwood.

Medium defender Seamus Mitchell was substituted in favour of Cam Mackenzie, but neither is likely to get the callup with Amon in the frame.

With most of the team firing, Brockman may play a tactical substitute role.

Bulldog James O'Donnell should come out of the side for Alex Keath, who needs to complete concussion protocol, while Ryan Gardner is also a chance to play.

A concussion to Anthony Scott leaves room for Gardner, with few changes required in a firing Bulldogs outfit.

St Kilda (7th) vs Richmond (13th) teams

Forgotten veteran Tim Membrey is likely to come in for St Kilda after kicking four goals from 20 touches and taking 14 marks in the VFL.

Jack Bytel, who had 35 disposals in the VFL, could also be an option to bolster a flat Saints midfield, along with Ben Paton, Nick Coffield and Jack Peris.

Mattaes Phillipou looks like he could use a rest in the VFL, while Cooper Sharman was also disappointing.

The Tigers should see Dustin Martin, Dylan Grimes and Trent Cotchin come back into the side to greatly boost their experience levels.

However, Jacob Hopper has entered concussion protocols and Daniel Rioli has to beat an ankle issue.

Jacob Bauer will find it hard to survive in the senior team, as will Rhyan Mansell.

Port Adelaide (4th) vs GWS (8th) teams

Port Adelaide could face a multitude of changes, with players returning from and being added to a long list of injured and sick footballers.

Forwards Jeremy Finlayson and Charlie Dixon should get a recall, while defenders Kane Farrell, Miles Bergman, Lachie Jones and Aliir Aliir could also come into the side.

Youngster Ollie Lord (seven disposals) is a likely out, while Jackson Mead (seven) and Jed McEntee (seven) also find themselves on the outer.

GWS will lose smalls Toby Bedford and Brent Daniels who will both miss with suspension.

Medium forward James Peatling (14 disposals) returned from a concussion through the VFL, while Aaron Cadman (four goals) could provide a different point of attack for the Giants.
