Winning form won't stop the selection door from revolving at Collingwood with several changes needed ahead of the King's birthday match against Melbourne.

Sydney will also get some respite in key position areas for their match against St Kilda after weeks of being short on talls.

The Sporting News has all the latest selection news.

Sydney vs St Kilda teams

Sydney are set for a boost in their key position stocks with skipper Dane Rampe and Joel Amartey looking likely to return from injury.

However, Luke Parker will be missing because of suspension and Callum Mills is still out with a calf complaint.

The Swans are also still short key defenders Paddy and Tom McCartin, while Peter Ladhams, Logan McDonald and Sam Reid are in the treatment room for varying lengths.

Lachlan McAndrew's position seems most at threat for the return of Amartey, with the young ruck struggling against Carlton.

There could be wholesale changes at St Kilda after a disappointing defeat against Hawthorn last week.

Star talent Mitch Owens looks set to return from concussion, while Marcus Windhager and Tim Membrey are candidates to be upgraded from the VFL.

Hunter Clark will spend at least a month on the sideline with a knee injury, while Anthony Caminiti, Mattaes Phillipou and Seb Ross will see their selection status examined.

Western Bulldogs vs Port Adelaide teams

Despite winning nine games in a row, Port Adelaide has the option of selecting veterans Travis Boak, Tom Jonas and Charlie Dixon.

Jonas played in the SANFL last week after losing his place in the Power team because of suspension, while Boak and Dixon have been injured.

There isn't likely to be many Port Adelaide changes after a big win over Hawthorn, but Josh Sinn, Ollie Lord, Lachie Jones and Trent McKenzie would be candidates if the Power needs players to come out.

The Bulldogs have lost Ed Richards to a long-term hamstring injury with Hayden Crozier the likely option to come in.

Mid-season draft selection Caleb Poulter, Luke Cleary and Laitham Vandermeer will also be discussed at selection.

A number of tall Bulldogs in the VFL could also be considered including Alex Keath, Josh Bruce and Sam Darcy.

Rory Lobb's form has been underwhelming recently.

Hawthorn vs Brisbane teams

Hawks defensive lynchpin James Sicily will be a welcome return from suspension, but Chad Wingard is likely to return through the VFL.

After a big defeat against Port Adelaide, several players could find their positions under threat.

Lloyd Meek was substituted for tactical reasons and Sam Frost was shifted forward after struggling in defence.

Jacob Koschitzke and debutant Bailey Macdonald didn't have a huge impact on the game either.

The likes of Josh Ward, Harry Morrison and Cooper Stephens have been performing well in the VFL, while Seamus Mitchell was a late withdrawal from the senior team and could be elevated straigtht back in.

Brisbane will lose Dayne Zorko to suspension but have a few options to replace the veteran.

Deven Robertson has produced strong VFL form, while Jarryd Lyons and Nakia Cockatoo could also come in.

Jack Payne and Noah Answerth will come out of concussion protocols and be available for selection.

Adelaide vs West Coast teams

West Coast's dire injury situation continues to get worse with five forced changes because of fitness issues.

Shannon Hurn (hamstring), Liam Duggan (suspension), Callum Jamieson (hip), Connor West (knee) and Elijah Hewett (concussion) will all come out because of injury or suspension.

However, several Eagles could return from injury including Luke Shuey, Jack Darling, Sam Petrevski-Seton and Luke Edwards.

Adelaide have lost Tom Doedee for the rest of the season with an ACL injury, with a replacement not immediately obvious.

Josh Worrell was unlucky to be dropped for the Suns match, while Matt Crouch, Harry Schoenberg and Tyler Brown could also be options for selection.

Fremantle vs Richmond teams

The flying Dockers will lose two key players with Sean Darcy (hamstring) and Jaeger O'Meara (suspension) confirmed omissions.

Liam Reidy could be a direct replacement for Darcy, while Josh Corbett could come in and a Dockers forward could support Luke Jackson in the ruck.

Replacements for O'Meara could come from a number of players including Michael Walters, Will Brodie, Neil Erasmus and Liam Henry.

Nick Vlastuin will return for Richmond, who have Dylan Grimes (shoulder) in doubt.

Maurice Rioli is likely to come back from a hamstring injury through the VFL.

North Melbourne vs GWS teams

North Melbourne midfield duo Jy Simpkin and Hugh Greenwood are both ruled out through concussion protocols.

Ben Cunnington and Daniel Howe are likely replacements after solid VFL performances.

With the Kangaroos having lost 10 games in a row, it's likely Brett Ratten will keep searching for a mix of players to get a win.

GWS will be boosted by the return of Nick Haynes from concussion, but will lose Brent Daniels to a hamstring.

Cameron Fleeton and Harry Rowston have been emergencies in previous weeks with strong VFL form under their belt.

Carlton vs Essendon teams

Carlton will be hoping Marc Pittonet (hand) returns from injury and Jack Silvagni (hip) gets up with both facing fitness tests.

George Hewett won't be back however as he will be given more time in concussion protocals.

Paddy Dow performed strongly as the sub against Melbourne, while Jaxon Binns is banging down the door via the VFL.

A huge in for Essendon is looming with Peter Wright closing in on selection for his first game of the season.

Dylan Shiel might be missing after being subbed with injury against North Melbourne.

The Bombers have several players in strong VFL form including Jake Kelly, Nik Cox, Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti and Tex Wanganeen.

Melbourne vs Collingwood teams

Selection could be busy at Collingwood with Jordan De Goey (suspension) needing to be replaced, while Beau McCreery and Will Hoskin-Elliott are in doubt with hamstring injuries.

Jamie Elliott is shaping to be a welcome return from injury, while Patrick Lipinski and Dan McStay will just need to pass fitness tests to be available.

While Collingwood lose a star midfielder, the Demons regain one of theirs in Clayton Oliver, with Michael Hibberd also looking to return.

Melbourne's two concussion victims against Carlton - Jake Bowey and James Harmes - look to be the omissions for the returning players.
