AFL Round 15 Betting Tips: Nat Fyfe value up forward, Hawthorn to fight against Gold Coast image

The final AFL bye rounds sees six matches including Thursday and Friday night blockbusters featuring Melbourne, Geelong, St Kilda and Brisbane.

Demons and the Cats should play out a close one at GMHBA Stadium, while the Saints-Lions looks hard to predict.

There is value at the line with Swans-Eagles and Suns-Hawks, while Collingwood are primed against the Crows at the MCG.

The Sporting News gives you the best betting tips for Round 15.

Last week, we scored four of our six predictions.

Tom Papley and Fremantle let the team down, but the lines for Port Adelaide, Carlton and North Melbourne got up, while Richmond won by under 24.5 points.

Geelong (10th) vs Melbourne (3rd) best bet

Melbourne are the favourites down at the Cattery with Geelong's indifferent recent form and loss at the venue to GWS.

The Cats were decent in periods early against Port Adelaide on the road last week and it's unlikely to be a big margin either way.

We like either team at under 24.5 points in a close battle.

Triple Margin II - Any Other Result (both teams to win by under 24.5 points) - $1.68

St Kilda (5th) vs Brisbane (4th) best bet

The Saints haven't lost two games in a row all season but will be up against as they try to keep in touch with the top four against Brisbane.

Brisbane don't travel particularly well but they have won their last two matches at Marvel Stadium.

The Lions should have the measure of their opposition but the Saints have value in one of their half-back flankers.

Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera has hit 25+ possessions in three of his last four games, just missing last week with 22 disposals.

Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera 25+ disposals - $2.05

Sydney (15th) vs West Coast (18th) best bet

There isn't much value at head-to-head with West Coast's struggles but the line is always thereabouts.

The Sydney +49.5 points line is attractive considering that has been covered in the Eagles' last five games.

If the Swans welcome back Lance Franklin, it should be a very attainable margin at home.

Sydney -49.5 points - $1.90

Fremantle (13th) vs Essendon (6th) best bet

The struggling Dockers are actually favourites at home and surely they will lift after a poor couple of weeks.

But there is definitely no value with the home side at head-to-head.

Fremantle need to kick more goals and expect Nat Fyfe to rest up forward a fair bit.

His price for an anytime goal is decent.

Nat Fyfe anytime goalscorer - $2.05

Collingwood (1st) vs Adelaide (8th) best bet

Adelaide have produced some decent performances this season but have struggled away from home.

Both teams are fresh off the bye and Collingwood will be primed at the MCG to get the win.

The line of 19.5 points is one the Magpies should cover against the Crows.

Collingwood -19.5 points - $1.90

Gold Coast (12th) vs Hawthorn (16th) best bet

Despite a horrible performance against Carlton, Gold Coast are hot favourites at home against the Hawks.

Hawthorn have been pretty good of late, beating St Kilda and Brisbane and only being beaten by Port Adelaide - where they performed decently in the second half.

If they can cope without the presence of the suspended James Sicily, the line of 23.5 points is one they can get under.

Hawthorn +23.5 points - $2.00
