Carlton are primed to continue Geelong's decline in front of a huge crowd at the MCG on Friday night.

Brisbane represent real value as an underdog on the road against a struggling Port Adelaide.

Carlton vs. Geelong prediction, tip, best bet

Both Carlton and Geelong are coming off the bye for this Friday night blockbuster.

The Cats have only won one of their past six games, but did beat the Blues in Round 7 by 13 points at the MCG.

However, the form of both teams has turned around with Carlton looking like top four contenders, while Geelong are battling.

The Blues should have too much firepower and will get the job done comfortably.

Prediction: Carlton by 22 points

Best bet: Carlton -10.5 ($1.90)

Port Adelaide vs. Brisbane prediction, tip, best bet

After Zak Butters overturned his suspension, the Power moved into slight favourites for this match.

However, Port Adelaide lost their last home game to Carlton and got out of jail against Hawthorn.

On the other hand, the Lions have hit form and smashed the Bulldogs on the road recently.

They represent significant value as an underdog.

Prediction: Brisbane by 13 points

Best bet: Brisbane to win ($1.95)

Melbourne vs. North Melbourne prediction, tip, best bet

North Melbourne were heartbroken in defeat against Collingwood last week but showed plenty of positive signs.

Their opponent Melbourne are in desperate trouble and will struggle to make finals after Christian Petracca was ruled out for the season.

While we would stop just short of backing North Melbourne to win this game, they definitely can.

In this case, the hefty line for North Melbourne looks value, particularly as the Demons are struggling to score.

Prediction: Melbourne by 8 points

Best bet: North Melbourne +32.5 ($1.90)

Fremantle vs. Gold Coast prediction, tip, best bet

Fremantle were shown up by the Bulldogs in Melbourne last week but will be primed to bounce back at home.

Gold Coast are yet to win away from home this season and it's hard to see them winning this match.

The Dockers have a similar defensive style to St Kilda, who stunted the Suns attack in their last game.

Fremantle are probably a little too short to back H2H but look to be a solid price at the line.

Prediction: Fremantle by 18 points

Best bet: Fremantle -15.5 ($1.90)
