Two blockbusters will feature in Round 13 with Collingwood and Melbourne meeting on King's birthday and the Western Bulldogs hosting Port Adelaide on Friday night.

Plenty will be on the line when Carlton and Essendon meet on Sunday night, while Sydney vs St Kilda will be an intriguing contest.

The Sporting News gives you the best betting tips for Round 13.

Last week, we scored four of our seven predictions.

Connor Rozee hit his disposals tally, Collingwood came hard to hit their line, Toby Greene made it three goals and North comfortably covered their line.

Melbourne fell short of their line against Carlton, Jeremy Cameron didn't kick three goals and Izak Rankine ended up goalless.

Sydney (12th) vs St Kilda (5th) best bet

It's not often a team seven places below on the ladder is favourite, but that shows the Swans' stock is rising, while the Saints have been struggling.

With both teams coming off the bye, it's a tough game to read.

Sydney has been boosted by the return of Dane Rampe, while St Kilda regain young gun Mitch Owens.

With the Swans backline still undersized despite Rampe's presence and the Saints reliance on King, the big forward should get a few snags.

Max King 3+ goals  - $2

Western Bulldogs (7th) vs Port Adelaide (2nd) best bet

Port Adelaide are just favourites to get their 10th consecutive win of the season in a Friday blockbuster against the Bulldogs.

After a 2023 revival, the Dogs have been stunted by defeats against Gold Coast and Geelong.

The Power have a brilliant record at Marvel, winning their last eight games.

It's hard to see this game being a blowout either way with the margin likely to be under 24.5 points.

Triple Margin II - Any Other Result (both teams to win by under 24.5 points) - $1.75

Hawthorn (16th) vs Brisbane (4th) best bet

The Hawks are all over the shop at the moment - defeating St Kilda with a great performance but stinking it up against Port Adelaide.

Brisbane traditionally struggle at the MCG but they should at least get the win on Saturday afternoon.

These factors make the line market tough to take and the Lions are too short to win,

As a result, Mitch Lewis appears value at $2.25 to kick three-plus goals.

The Hawthorn forward had three goals and five shots on the big sticks in a struggling team last week.

He has also hit the three-plus mark twice in the previous weeks, with three goals and six goals.

Mitch Lewis 3+ goals - $2.25

Adelaide (9th) vs West Coast (18th) best bet

West Coast's injury woes continue to go from bad-to-worse in a nightmare season.

While the Crows are inconsistent but are a much better team at home.

With their forward line potency, you can expect a big win for Adelaide and for them to cover the custom line comfortably.

Adelaide Pick Your Own Line -62.5 points - $2

Fremantle (10th) vs Richmond (13th) best bet

Four wins in a row has seen the Dockers surge up the ladder.

Richmond got a crucial win at GWS last week and need to keep getting the four points to keep their finals hopes alive.

Fremantle are hot favourites for the match but aren't tradtionally a side to blow teams away.

We like the 1-39 margin as a result.

Fremantle Margin 1-39 points - $2.15

North Melbourne (17th) vs GWS (15th) best bet

The Kangaroos have been improving gradually and are edging closer to a drought-breaking win - having lost 10 games in a row.

GWS have been inconsistent recently, defeating Geelong at GMHBA Stadium but then losing to Richmond last week.

With the match being played in Tasmania, it should definitely help the Roos keep the match close and push for a win.

North at their line is an attractive proposition.

North Melbourne +14.5 points - $1.90

Carlton (14th) vs Essendon (6th) best bet

The old enemies meet in a Sunday night blockbuster at the MCG with a win meaning different things for each team.

Carlton's season is effectively over with another loss - especially with teams such as Sydney and Fremantle finding form outside the eight.

The improving Bombers have pushed into the eight and will be keen to consolidate their position.

It's unlikely to be a big margin either way and we like either team to win under 24.5 points.

Triple Margin II - Any Other Result (both teams to win by under 24.5 points) - $1.68

Melbourne (3rd) vs Collingwood (1st) best bet

The King's Birthday blockbuster between Melbourne and Collingwood promises to be a tight affair.

The Demons haven't been brilliant in previous weeks and looked sluggish against Carlton last week.

Collingwood have only lost one game this season but have some personnel issues with Jordan de Goey out, while Will Hoskin Elliott and Beau McCreery are in doubt.

With the Magpies just favourites at 1.85, we like them at the -1.5 line to get the extra value.

Collingwood -1.5 points - $1.90
