Half way through season 2022, we thought it'd be interesting to see what the best 22 would look like if the season stopped now.

Three changes have been made from last week's side, with Melbourne skipper Max Gawn making way for impressive Gold Coast ruckman Jarrod Witts.

Witts has been super consistent in 2022, raising new heights in his game and contributing to the Suns' finals hopes.

Carlton's Sam Walsh replaces winger Ed Langdon in the side after his outing against arch-rivals Collingwood in round 11.

Walsh almost single-handedly won the Blues the game, collecting 35 touches and kicking a goal and unlucky to draw a free-kick for a shot after the siren.

Geelong livewire Tyson Stengle forces his way into the side after yet another stunning showing against his former side, Adelaide, over the weekend.

Taking Jack Ginnivan's spot, Stengle has kicked 23 goals for the year, including three in round 11 and looks to be aiding Chris Scott's small forward troubles.

Andrew Brayshaw also finds himself in the team, supplementing Hugh McCluggage's departure due to injury.

Brayshaw has been the leader of Fremantle's resurgence towards September and could be a chance for the Brownlow come season's end.

Have we got it right? We missing anyone?

Check out last week's side.
