AFL draft: The full draft order after the trade period image

With the AFL trade period over all eyes head to the national draft, which is a two-day affair this year with the first round selected on Thursday November 22nd and the rest of the draft completed on Friday November 23rd.

There's a couple of reasons behind the extended version: firstly it gives the AFL plenty of opportunity to make a big song and dance of the early selections, putting pressure on them for the rest of their football lives, and secondly, proceedings could be considerably longer than previously with the introduction of live trading of picks.

And just to confuse things even more there is still the opportunity for clubs to trade picks between now and November 16th, leading to plenty of speculation as to whether anyone will make a play for Carlton's No.1 selection, or if Adelaide or Port Adelaide can improve their positions in an effort to grab one of the top-rated South Australians expected to go in the first three picks.
