Richmond Tigers player Sydney Stack is in hot water once again, this time after a COVID breach in Western Australia.

The 20-year old was arrested over the weekend after he was reportedly found almost 100 kilometres away from where he was authorised to be, after travelling interstate from South Australia to WA.

The Tigers utility was given permission to enter WA for his grandfather's funeral, but was supposed to remain in Northam - but ended up in Northbridge.

Stack has since been refused bail, and will face court again on Monday.

Earlier in the year, Stack and Tigers teammate Callum Coleman-Jones were involved in a fight on the Gold Coast when they were meant to be in the AFL bubble

The pair were suspended for 10 games each after the Surfers Paradise incident.

Speaking on audio from quarantine, Stack conceded his playing career could be on the line.

“My AFL career is on the line with Richmond,” he said.

“I came into Perth to get a COVID test done.”

The club released a short statement on Sunday regarding the incident.

“The club is aware Sydney Stack has been charged with allegedly breaching COVID quarantine protocols in Perth," it said.

“As the matter is before the courts the Club won’t be making any further comment.”
