Adelaide Crows got a fairly comfortable win over Western Bulldogs in trying circumstances at Adelaide Oval on Friday night.

Driving rain for the majority of the first half made for some pretty ugly football and if Eddie Betts didn't have the ball, it generally wasn't worth watching.

In his 100th game for the club, the star small forward kicked four goals in a 37-point win for the home side.

Considering his side only kicked nine and there were only 11 in the match, that's a pretty strong effort from the veteran.

While Betts was lighting up the soaked turf, one Crows trainer found himself in a spot of bother.

Matt Suckling had just kicked the Bulldogs' second and final goal for the match and an Adelaide trainer was giving some water to the Crows midfield when he was shooed away by the umpire.

Not wanting to concede a free kick, our man made a beeline for the edge of the square.

Once he safely made it to his chair beyond the boundary, old mate looked concern, feeling for his left hammy.

Check out the video below.

Don Pyke's men have been going through somewhat of an injury crisis lately, with hamstrings all the rage at West Lakes.

Taylor Walker, Matt Crouch, Riley Knight, Sam Gibson, Kyle Hartigan and Wayne Milera have all missed time this year nursing sore strings.

Whatever it is that's causing it, it's spread to the staff.
