Sometimes people reference pop culture without really thinking about how relevant it is to a modern audience, and it seems the Adelaide Crows may have fallen victim to overestimating the age of their social media fans.

But then again, maybe they nailed it.

The Crows posted a video on Twitter parodying a scene from Seinfeld, a show that for all its famous moments and lines that have entered the modern lexicon, aired its final episode (for the first time) 20 years ago.

The original scene in question featured the character Kramer passing a ‘quiet day’ on his own, Adelaide mimicking it shot-for-shot with club mascot Claude in the lead role.

Reaction from fans went both ways. You could say some were angry that day, my friends, like an old man trying to send soup back in a deli.

Others found it blissful, putting them in a state of serenity now.
