Taylor Walker has been cleared of misconduct at the AFL Tribunal on Tuesday night.

It took just one minute for the panel to decide on the not guilty verdict.

Earlier:

Adelaide captain Taylor Walker has decided he doesn't want to part with the $1500 the AFL fined him for a push on West Coast Eagle Luke Shuey, and will contest the decision at the tribunal on Tuesday night.

Walker was issued a $2500 penalty for misconduct out of Saturday's game, but he could have received a $1000 discount with a guilty plea.

However, 'Tex' was clearly unhappy with Match Review Officer Michael Christian's call, taking to Twitter to have a dig at Leage CEO Gil McLachlan, suggesting the AFL was going to use money from player fines to pay for its Christmas party.

The incident seemed to start when Shuey punched Walker in the back, causing the Crows skipper to retaliate with a similar strike to the Eagle's chest.

Shuey was not penalised by the MRO.
