Ash Barty has won the Adelaide International, taking care of Kazakhstani Elena Rybakina in straight sets Sunday afternoon.
The current world number one never looked in doubt, piecing apart Rybakina - current world number 14 - in just over an hour, to win the match 6-3, 6-2.

Rybakina attempted to make a surge late in the second set, but Barty dispatched her with the ease that the tennis world has come to expect from the Australian.
It was a dominant tournament for Barty, only dropping one set in her campaign, the first set against American Coco Gauff, en route to her 14th career WTA title.
She defeated the likes of Iga Swiatek and Sofia Kenin before facing off against the 22-year-old Rybakina in the final, in which she never looked in doubt of winning.
With the Australian Open set to begin in a week's time, this win gives momentum to the Australian who is looking to improve on her quarter-final exit last year.
"Look out Australian Open!" 🔥

“It’s been a challenging 18 months, two years for all of us and it’s so nice to be here to enjoy a fantastic week,” Barty said.
“The fans have made this week exceptional for me, you’ve made it so much fun, and you’ve brought that spark back into my tennis.
“Thank You very much and we’ll catch you guys in Melbourne.”
While this was an impressive victory for Barty, she won’t have much time to celebrate; a quick turnaround sees her competing for the doubles title with Australian Olympic doubles partner Storm Sanders at 7:50 PM.
If all goes to plan, Barty will be entering the first Grand Slam of the year boasting two trophies, and a whole lot of confidence.
